Christophe Claret

TOURBILLON DE LA ROCHE

Created to celebrate the watchmaker’s purchase of the Château de la Roche in the region of Besançon (France) and created in a set of two (one for the seller of the property and the other for Christophe Claret himself).

Tourbillon De La Roche

Christophe Claret is passionately interested in history, and particularly that of the Renaissance period. He appreciates the world of castles, in which he loves to set off to discover the past and its glorious treasures. It was thus that, several years ago, he acquired the Château de La Roche not far from the town of Besançon, France. This dwelling was built in the 13th century by Baron Othon de La Roche, Duc of Athens and a knight of the fourth crusade. Upon making this purchase, Christophe Claret created a rose gold tourbillon watch produced in a set of two, highlighting this complication through exceptional engraving work adorning not only the bridges but also the caseback.
