A brand-new watch fair opened in Las Vegas on the weekend of June 4th and 5th: the World Watch Market. Christophe Claret was one of the brands exhibiting at this fair, open to watch industry brands as well as devotees of horology. At the opening cocktail, Christophe Claret put on a striking show with a camouflage painting by Skin City, in which the charming model was treated to a body painting of the Poker watch – a natural choice for the world gaming capital. Poker was created in 2014 and enables users to immerse themselves in real three-player games of the most popular variant of poker: Texas Hold’em. In total, Poker packs in 32,768 different combinations, i.e. 98,304 combinations for three players. Bringing a complete 52-card game following the rules of poker in a mechanical movement is a real feat, one which offers exciting new technical prospects for Haute Horlogerie.
